Find Henrico Release Mugshots

Finding the mugshot of a released Henrico County inmate requires the right photo source. The current Henrico jail detail does not display a booking image, and the County has no verified recent-release photo feed or Sheriff inmate app. A Henrico County booking photo may instead be requested from the record custodian, while a state corrections image applies only to the VADOC track. Registry and news images have narrower purposes. Release mugshots remain tied to an arrest episode, not proof of guilt, the final court result, present custody, or continuing supervision. No mugshot gallery is hosted here.

Henrico Release Mugshot Records

A booking photograph documents intake during a specific arrest and jail episode. It is not the same record as the court disposition or Henrico release entry. Release does not erase the original intake image, but it also does not mean the photo remains on a public web page. Henrico's live detail lacks a photo, and the current search is designed for people still held.

Virginia Code §2.2-3706(A) provides the adult arrestee intake-photo framework and includes an exception tied to an ongoing felony investigation. Other criminal-record provisions, juvenile limits, sealed or expunged matters, privacy interests, and legal redactions can affect disclosure. Public-record status does not compel the Sheriff to publish a photo proactively, and it does not make every later reuse accurate or lawful.

Identify the correct episode before seeking the image. A name, date of birth or inmate ID, booking number, booking range, and Jail East or Jail West can prevent a response from being tied to the wrong arrest.

Henrico Release Mugshot Channels

No single Henrico source supplies a public gallery. Match the image source to the custody system and the reason the image was created. The channels differ sharply in coverage and reliability.

VINELink may help identify a custody event but is not documented here as Henrico's booking-photo source. Use it to confirm the agency and event, then request the photograph from the record custodian.

Henrico Has No Mugshot App

The official Henrico current detail can show inmate ID, name, booking date and time, projected release date, facility, court, bond, and charge descriptions. It does not display a booking photograph. No official recent-release photo feed was found, and no Henrico Sheriff inmate or release app advertising booking images was located.

The URL labeled as a mobile page is simply a responsive version of the current search. GettingOut and GoVisits relate to visitation services, not to a public inmate roster or release-photo archive. The County's general apps catalog does not establish a Sheriff mugshot service. Do not direct readers to download an app that does not exist.

The official current-detail structure was captured to document its fields and the missing image area. The screenshot contains a public exemplar and should be read only for layout and field structure.

The absence of a photo on that screen does not prove the custodian lacks an intake photograph. It means a separate records request is the official local discovery path.

Request a Henrico Booking Photo

Address a focused request to the Sheriff or County custodian. Ask for an existing record, not a new photo list or gallery. The County's official FOIA contact page provides the current submission channel.

  1. Identify the adult arrestee by full name and date of birth or inmate ID when known.
  2. State the approximate booking date, booking number, and Jail East or Jail West if available.
  3. Request the adult arrestee intake or booking photograph as its own item. Add the intake and release entry only if those records are also needed.
  4. Ask for electronic copies and an advance cost estimate. Set a dollar limit that requires contact before work continues.
  5. If any part is withheld, ask for the specific statutory basis and all reasonably separable portions.

Henrico lists General Government FOIA contact routing by phone at 804-501-5368, fax at 804-501-4140, mail to PO Box 90775, and in-person delivery at 4301 East Parham Road. The Sheriff lists 4317 East Parham Road, 804-501-5860, fax 804-501-4770, and weekday office hours from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The County generally responds within five working days. Written notice can add seven working days. Actual search, access, supply, and duplication costs may apply, and a deposit may be requested when an estimate exceeds $200. A request can still be denied or redacted under an applicable exception.

Henrico News and Photo Copies

Henrico Police, the Sheriff, prosecutors, and local news outlets may publish a suspect image for selected events. Such publication is not a complete set of county arrests. It may precede the final case result, and it does not prove when the person left jail. Read the accompanying date, agency, and event description.

Commercial aggregation sites can retain old images, join a photo to the wrong event, label a transfer as release, or omit a later correction. They are leads at most. No commercial mugshot publisher or removal service is linked or endorsed. Prefer the Sheriff record, court disposition, VINE event, and receiving custodian.

A Virginia registry result can show a current image only for a person who has a legal registration duty. It is not a general release list or photo archive. Absence from that registry says nothing about people outside its statutory scope.

Henrico Mugshot Access Changes

Expungement places qualifying material outside ordinary access under a court-controlled process. As of the research date, Virginia Code §19.2-392.2 covered qualifying acquittals, nolle prosequi outcomes, dismissals, and specified identity, pardon, or writ circumstances. A separate later version was scheduled to take effect, so the operative law and order date must be checked before drawing conclusions.

A sealed or expunged result can explain why a court case or image is no longer accessible. It does not mean the custody event never happened. Juvenile restrictions, an ongoing investigation, identity mistakes, technical changes, and retention rules can also affect visibility. Send a certified order or clear correction request to the official custodian when applicable.

Restricted use: This private site is not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA. Mugshot information may not be used for credit, employment, tenant, insurance, or any other FCRA-covered purpose.

No verified Virginia anti-pay-to-remove statute was located for a safe claim. Do not assume a private publisher must act under a rule that has not been confirmed. Ask the originating government office about its own record and pursue private-site corrections directly without relying on paid removal claims.

Henrico Expungement Fee Conflict

Henrico's civil-filing page displayed a $98 amount for an expungement petition at the research date. The currently operative text of §19.2-392.2 stated that no filing fees or costs were required for a subsection-A petition. Those sources conflict. Do not choose one figure as universally correct or send payment based only on an undated summary.

Confirm the current amount and filing process with the Henrico Circuit Clerk at 4309 East Parham Road, 804-501-4202. Clerk hours were posted as 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Henrico also states that charges and dispositions are not supplied by telephone or email, so use the official court search and copy process for the case record.

The fee conflict concerns filing procedure, not automatic photo removal. An entered expungement order and the record custodian's implementation determine access. If no qualifying order exists, a missing image still cannot be read as proof of expungement.

Note: Confirm both the operative statute version and Henrico's current filing instructions before relying on any posted expungement amount.

Henrico Mugshots Versus VADOC Photos

A VADOC identification image belongs to the state corrections record. VADOC procedure says VACORIS, its continuing correctional record system, contains an identification photograph and correctional-status information. That image may have been created or updated after the Henrico booking. It should not be labeled as the original Jail East or Jail West intake photo unless the source record establishes that link.

Use the state route only when the person entered VADOC custody or supervision. Search by the required name pattern or seven-digit DOC ID and compare identifiers. A state locator result can show custody or supervision context, but public image display and release of the underlying photo remain subject to VADOC's legal review. For a formal request, identify the person, DOC ID, time range, and the identification photo sought.

VADOC accepts records requests through several channels and prefers clear written requests. Its FOIA guidance lists 804-963-2953 and PO Box 26963, Richmond, VA 23261. Direct records held at a facility or supervision office to the responsible unit manager, warden, superintendent, or probation and parole chief when appropriate.

Keep the caption accurate if both images exist. “Henrico booking photo” describes local intake. “VADOC identification photo” describes the state record. Neither photo establishes the final case result, current custody, or actual discharge without the related court and release records.

When the state result no longer displays a useful current record, ask VADOC for releasable correctional-status fields and the image only if the state episode is the one being verified. A person who bonded out on a local Henrico case and never entered state authority may have no VADOC photo connected to that booking at all.
